Post subject:  Any ZX Coilover/Adjustabe suspension recomandations?

Hey, newbe to the site here my name is Erik I am from Norway.

Looking for a nice coilover/adjustable suspension package for my ZX for use on Track Days and Nürburgring.
Any Recomandations?

This any good:
http://www.ultimate-suspension.com/ultimate-suspension/gb/prod_combines_results.cfm?marque=CITROEN&modele=ZX

Here is a bit of info on me and the plans:

Long time Citroen fan been thru BX16TRS, Xantia Activa, Xsara VTS and on my 2nd ZX TurboD.

I currently own a verde green ZX Advantage 1.9 TurboD Estate with Peugot GTI 15" wheels, a nice OPM 7cm deep steering wheel as a daily driver.

It has a tuned diesel pump and lost it`s particle filter so for an old oil burner quite fast.

Currently looking for a ZX 2.0 16v for track day and Nürurgring toy but those are hard to finde in good condition here.
The plan is to tune the 2.016v og put in a 2.0VTS engine.

Does anyone know if the Peugeot 306 or Xsara suspension kits can be used on a ZX?

Xsara has the same front suspension and engine cradle as the ZX.

Welcome @ the site 8)
I have the ultimate setup, it's is nice, not too comfy though :P
I have the set made for a 306 GTi, but its all the same. Xsara is also the same :)
Next time I would buy KW, but thats double the price of Ultimate..

KW uses the Koni shocks I don`t like the koni`s they are only adjustable at rebound and would need very stiff springs to work.

Found Spax, Apex and Gaz but what to pick?

I was looking at a 2.0 16v yesterday but to expensive compared to the work and parts it needed.

What are the prices on ZX 16v or a Xsara VTS in Nederlands?

A norwegian friend living in Nederlands ans I are considering buying a Nürburgring car to stay at hime in Holland.

Thanx for the reply.

The rear shocks are Koni, yes. But front is just KW.
Here 16V's go for anything between €1000 and €3000 for the PH1's. PH2 is obviously more expensive, from about €5000. Xsara VTS is about the same as the PH2 ZX.

I was told KW juses koni shocks in their coilovers alslo front.

PH1? is that 150hk engine? and PH2 167hp engine? same as in Xsara VTS?

Hmmm sounds lika a nice ZX PH1 would make a nice ring racer.

Still digging for coilovers but also considering H&R springs and Bilstein B6 shocks.

Thanks for the reply

welcome to the forum, Erik! do you checked the Larkspeed site? they have some stuff about suspension http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?c=SUS ... s=category

it´s too difficult to find some tuning parts for ZX 16V here, in Europe maybe it´s more easy!

Nurburgring Nordschleife is a dream! Maybe one day...
