Hi, my name is Steve Forrest and i've been a big Citroen fan for years, had a couple of 16v zx's and a couple of td volcanes as well, currently zx-less but have my bx tzd and a td xsara on the drive, also have a legacy turbo which is currently undergoing refit to look like mcraes 93 new zealand winning car. Have always had a soft spot for the zx's and would want one day to build up a maxi bodied 4wd version mixing my love of subaru's with the zx maxi's distinctive bodyshell mmmmmm! Looking forward to spending some time on this zx forum and finding like minded folks here in the uk!!! Cheers Steve |

thanks guys, had noticed over the last 2-3 years a decline in good 16v's, have had a black one and a white track day car, so next one needs to be red, will be a while before i get one but will have to be a good un! |

Surely the best way is to grab a rolled or shunted scoob & transfer the engine & drivetrain |

There was a guy doing rs200 replicas in preston nw england a few months ago that used impreza floor pans and running gear, he quoted me £2000 if i supplied the 2 cars to fit them together, problem was i had sold my maxi kit a few months earlier and lost all interest, but i'm on the look out again and would probably need a reflex as it has windy handle windows and no sunroof, ideal for a track car then!!! |

bought mine through cituning and was very expensive!! didn't fit it in the end and sold it on to a guy in ireland, but trial fittings proved it was gonna need a lot of work!! There is an alternative supplier in france does lots of body panels inc lightweight doors bonnets ect, but ordering from france looks as if it may be a bit iffy sending this kind of thing. http://www.mcracingsa.com/CITROENZXMAXI.htm http://www.mcracingsa.com/CITROENZX.htm steve |
