they are all the same age so if one has failed i would expect them all to be getting old and replace them all especially seeing as they are not that expensive |

I'd only replace the broken ones, €70 is not really cheap, €280 is even more It's an easy job so that's not a problem. |

I had a spark plug lead (ignition coil) breakdown and so it ran on only 3 cylinders until the fault was diagnosed. Since then it has been running very well. However since the lead changes the car has been developing a similar problem (intermittent) as before. Although the sparks were changed at the same time the car sometimes losses power, sounds like a boxer engine and then runs okay again. Very Odd. Can anybody shed any light if this is common problem, if the leads/ignition coil are unreliable, distributor problems, injectors etc. Thnaks |

Check the schematics, if you have them. |

I checked it, it's not the module (the 2 coil that broke down connected to different coil) one module connect to the coils on cylinder 1 and 3 and one module connect to the coils on cylinder 2 and 4 I replaced the spark plugs, hope it will be ok |

Ok. I've heard this before, if one dies chances are another one follows rapidly. But I only replace them when they are really broken. |

Balong, Clean the contacts on the ignition modules first...if problem still persists, then it could be one of coils which are almost dead...tony has some spare coils to sell... |
