Guys, anyone ever fitted a 206RC engine onto zx16V? Any thoughts on this conversion? |

It's EW10 instead of XU10, so probably will be different, less plug and play. Why would you, for just those 10 extra HP? |

more torque, lots more, also a lot lighter, newer, massively less susceptible to oil surge+starvation. |

bingo welshpug... mine is not version 2 ie my current bhp is estimated 150-155. It's also on superchip. 206RC at 180hp is a substantial gain compared to using a gti-6 engine@167hp. As welshpug said, 206RC engine is also much lighter, torquey while maintaining zx handling & setup. what i like best about zx is its simple interior and dashboard. look timeless but to fit a 206RC engine, i need to use 206 dashboard & wiring setup |

I dont think so, IF you use standalone engine management. Often you will also gain a few HP just by doing that, also you have the perfect base for future tuning (camshafts, ITB's? etc) |

I wouldn't bother with the wiring and look into a stand alone mappable ECU, wouldn't mind one of these for the xsara..... |
