Just joined ... I'm based in the UK. I've got a green 1993 ZX 16v that I've owned for about 12 years - its been off the road for about 6 years but will shortly be MOT'd and back in circulation. Reason it went off orginally was the heater matrix went and was a dashboard out job, while off the road rear axle seized up so cam out and was refurbished - now being put back together with new shocks and discs. I don't know what the engine is going to be like after being unused for so long - any advice on this would be good! It's done about 167k and has full service history to about 100k. When it was running it did have an occasional electrical fault where it used to run on three cylinders. Usually cured by using a mini vacuum cleaner on the electrics and coils. Body is all ok but will need paintwork bringing back to life .. Cheers Gaz |
