Post subject: | Cruiser's 16V part II |
On request, the English version of my topic 8) It all starts in september 2003. The 16V is imported from Germany that year, it was build in '93. This is how I got it One of the first mods is some debadging of the rear The 16V is gone too, but that's because the original glue let loose.. Replaced old dirty mesh with black mesh Next mod was the exhaust system. The Musketier system was worn out. We made a custom catback system. The brakes were a problem too. All discs are replaced with Sandtler RS discs, and brakepads are replaced with Ferodo DS2500. Also new brakehoses from Goodridge and new handbrake cables. Waiting for an overhaulkit for the front brake callipers The kit is in, so time to put it all together New brakehose front Brake bleeding Result with the standard alloys Detail The shiftknob has been completed with a piece of stainless tube to make it look better. Foglights come on too when I brake, made a switch to be able to switch it off too Small start of some ICE New licenseplateretainers Centerconsole colorcoded, but I don't like the color. It got damaged anyway so needs to be done again. Where the cigarettelighter used to be there will be a start button :) Really tight for ICE cables :? Little fotoshoot I wanted more color under the hood, started off with the largest piece of plastic Killswitch (never put in, lack of space) Update Pics of the modded brakelights Stainless airintaketube in progress Privacyglass Dark side indicators Dark rear light clusters + Saxo wiper, CS Stickers Blue leds in instrument panel, but I dont like it. Green CCFL's Yellow fans Stainless airintaketube finished 8) Bottle stands in for an oilcatch can which has yet to be made. Building in some stuff: Center hole will be housing an AFR meter 8) All meters in 8) White indicators at last.. For a mark I ZX they need to be modified to make them fit. HID conversion and Sparco pedals 8) Left xenon right halogeen: Both Xenon: Expensive PIAA leds for parklights Trying to extend a Fiat Brava wiper.. still too short New Peugeot Aiddel wheels in 17" Chrome Shadow 8) With 205/40ZR17 FK-451 Falkens tires. Idling valve moved and put a K&N filter on it More yellow No more privacyglass, no more rearwiper, modifying the trunk to open it electrically 8) Wiper gone Trunk opening mechanism More follows (lots of typing :P:P) |

The conversion is simple, see the story at the frontpage. Conversion is at this moment around €200. I paid more, but that was over 1.5 year back. |

ZX-Cruiser, I only don´t understand how to dismount the head light, in the xenon article in one picture the head light was there, in another pic it was removed! is simple to remove it? humm, in Brazil is prohibited to install xenon kits, but is prohibited to lowering the car, to use a window film and many other things lol it is very expensive, is about to 650 US dollars |

Wow it used to be that expensive here too but that's like 3 years ago.. Headlight is mounted with kinda paperclip-like clips.. can be a little struggle to mount those back |
