Hello there! First, please excuse my english because I'm french! and some members will recognize me!

I just have discovered this forum, by our french forum Citroen-Compactes.com.

It's really nice to see that there's a internationnal community for this car!

So, I'm gonna intruduce my car:


It's a 16V Acav Furio Red from July 1992. She (?) got about 95000km (not so much isn't it?).

I bought it in april 2007 to a member of our french forum who's got a 16V 167Cv now.

It costed me 1900€ and this is not so much because of the work which has been done on this car:

New suspension, injection program changed (in the calculator. reprogrammation), Aviation brake "durites" et maybe over things I forgot! :roll:

Bad things are:

Passagenr door is dead, the Paint is really damaged, and the wheel have scratches.

I would like to "restore" it but i don't have enough money (I'm student)

Hey welcome.
Those interior problems are just minor things. You can grab those pieces of plastic from any ZX ;)
Could you plz resize the HUGE images? They take ages to load and mess up the board..

Yesterday i bought plastics to replace those which are broken!

I have to replace my seat belts, do you know how much does it cost?

And to answer to the question:

No, it's not common to see 16V in france!

I saw just one on february at Deauville, it was an old man who was driving it. it was a first phase (like mine) but in Green "Vega" It was really clean!

I had never seen any moded 16V, or any ZX. Just one in fact...
very few people like this car, so no one mods it!

the only 16Vs I know are not moded!

why do few people in France like the zx 16v? I just cant understand why these cars are not more popular.

they look amazing

the handle amazing

they are quite well built (good on the spainards!)
