Hello everybody

As from tuesday we will be the proud owners of a blue 1997 Citroen ZX 16v with the 167hp engine.
The car is completely original, with only 133000 kms and full service history.
No pics yet.... 8) but soon to follow !

Hopefully it matches our darling ST in terms of driving and fun!

still no pics....
We are rebuilding parts of our house, so I haven't had time to wash the car properly and as a result haven't got any pics yet :)
But I've driven it several times now, and the first things that comes to mind are :
* In comparison to our ST (not completely standard), it is just a bit slower. There is a little bit less torque in the low revs, but once you get to the high revs.... :D
* It is much more comfortable than the same ST, on belgian roads a joy !!
* Clutch and steering are a bit heavier, but not better, not worse, just a little bit less direct, more relaxed.

A possible problem is, when I take a long corner to the right at high(er) speed, I hear a bit of a noise somewhere on the back wheels ???

Overall, For a 13y old car it drives superb, I would have expected it a bit faster.... but less good. Now it s time to get to know the car better, so that I can shake her ass :D

What size are the wheels(J value) ? The sound you are hearing could be the tyre touching the body and that could be a indication that there is something wrong with the rear axle bearings.

as you can see, those are standard sized alloys, so the problem doesn't come from the wheels themselves.
I guess it's a problem with - and now a Belgian word - het roulement

Roulement? Isn't that in ducth wheel bearing(wiel lager)?
Wheel bearings aren't a common failure...Can you take a picture taken from the rear? So that you can see the wheel camber (wielvlucht).
