This will be my third 16V I have a lot of mods on my mind and hopefully this time I will actually do some mods. The ZX 16V looks quite nice. It's biggest fault is lots of stone-chippings damage on the bumper and hood. Technically there are 3 major issues: -clucth worn out -oil leak -righthand driveshaft These three points will be my main objective to tackle. At the moment the car has 14"steelies But I have bought een set of wheels via ebay: These wheels however aren't straight. I'm not sure if I keep the wheels or that they go back to it's sender.

The car is lowered, standard shocks + HR -35mm springs. The rear is lowered about 4,2cm(I'm not sure, because it is done by the previous owner).
It is a bit lower than my other 16V, which was lowerd 3,9cm.

Looks good mate...my first 16V came with that metallic dark green...
Now the car just needs some nice looking 16 inch wheels (im a big fan of OZ Superleggaras).... then it will be spot on!

Little update..
Plans were completely changed. There is a XU10J2TE RGY engine under the bonnet. Still have lots of work to do though...
When you take apart two cars at about the same time, there will be lot of crap lying around
The easy part is done

good luck friend
RGY is not the best choice...
RGY = 139HP AND 22.9kgm
RGX = 150HP AND 23.9kgm
but turbo its a turbo... you can easely rise up the *dont now the word* and get more power...

It has a bit less power and there are a few internal differences, but I will not be running the original turbo and exaust manifold and it will have more boost than the standard ~0,6 bar. When I'm finished I hope to have about 200hp@1,1bar.
The most important thing is to have it running and from there we will see! I also have many many things to do with the looks of the car.
Thanks for the good luck, I know I am going to need it, or else the car will be running in november 2017

o.k. a good turboto this engine is the 95-99 impreza GT!! my friend got it on is RGX and he satisfied!!
p.s. i recommender you to replace the head gasket to the 306GTI6 gasket!! is more durable - they made it from metallic material, and of course - it perfectly match!!

Been busy with the ZX the last two days...
Yesterday
Left shocks(Ori + H&R and Koni + H&R) taken apart and build up again, with the best components.
Shock back under the care together with the driveshaft.
Today:
Left hand side finished.
Removed the right hand side shock and fitted the driveshaft.
Right hand side also completed. Shock has gotten the same "tune up" als the left one yesterday. But there was a complication...
I was being careless and damaged the thread of the steering thing(look at the pic and you'll know what I mean). It was stuck so I used a hamer, but I did not line up the ...(not bolt but the other one). So I just had to by a new one.
Alternator mounted.
Same for the starter engine.
English can be damn difficult at times
