Guys, wanted to know what's the setback of using 8v clutch kit onto the 16v. Will it impact the power & performance?

Understand the 8v clutch kit is softer hence easier for drive during traffic jams esp. in a city like KL (capital of Msia).

The other thing is if in future i wish to upgrade the engine to a 306 gti-6 engine (retaining zx 16v gearbox ie 5speed), can the similar 8v clutch able to do the job?
