French Car Show 5th June

Thought I'd post this up in case anybody would be interested in going it's on Sunday 5th of June at Rockingham Motor Speedway , Northhants , Sat Nav NN17 5AF , I'll be going as it looks like a good day out with plenty on , there's more info in this months performance French car s magazine , it would be nice to get a few Zx16v's together , might even get a spot with some of the other clubs etc , there's even some tracktime available too so should be fun , let me know if anyone else is going down , thanks ,

would love to go but its just to far to go 500 plus miles. one day hopefully i will make a weekend off it intill then you will have to tell in show us what it was like cheesygrin

No worries Dug I'll take plenty of pics on the day , maybe some of the other members will go , the tracktime could be fun :twisted:

That would be fantastic , I will pm some more members and see how many we can get , I will also ring PFC magazine and see if a club stand/allocated parking is possible , thanks

People just don't know what the Zx16v is they just look puzzled , then when you pop the bonnet their just gobsmacked when they see the motor , at a recent retro car meet in Sheffield a couple of Vw boys didn't even realise they even did a Zx with the 2.0 16valve motor in , very exclusive and WAY better than the shedloads of mk2/3/4 golfs that are around

Years ago when I was young and daft and had my Bx16v , I used to blitz the golf gti boys and the corrados , remember once taking a series 2 escort rs turbo out for a spin and it wasn't a patch on the Bx , heavy numb steering , rubbish brakes , basically cr&p really and I can never understand why they had & still have the following they get :lol:

the citroen bx were fast cars they would beat the zx 16v in 0-60 sad
