I don't know if you browse the UK eBay site but there is a guy that is selling a smooth wiper cover for the ZX, although I've never seen one fitted so can't say what its like.

LOL @ wiper cover I was going to do a DTM wiper (from an Alfa 145) but it is short, and needs to be extended.
The way it is now is quite nice tough so I dont think I'm gonna put the DTM on anymore.

Have some bonking noises in the front I'm trying to kill.
So we're replacing everything that hasnt been replaced yet

That didnt solve it completely. It appeared that it was the strut mounts that had worn out, so those were replaced too





Cant see from the mounts that theyre worn out, but they are!

top job, ZX rusting - surface only of course, not surprising though, it#s obviously a dirt trap up there.

mind you I saw one the other day that had a rotten rear wing - must have been a crash repair.

Yup true..
Though I have to admit, the other day we had to repair a heatshield that had came loose on my parent's '01 Xsara, and it had the same rust on the same spot And that car is 8 years younger

As a matter of fact with this cat you dont notice powerloss. It sounds a bit less racey though, and also less louder (but thats good, a loud car sucks on the motorway).
