I like the original rims, but the Speedlines are a perfect combo to a ZX...
hummm, my friend have paint the rims for a test:
what do you think? (yes, he´s returned to the original color)

Dark-dark is..... quite dark
In the UK though you see this a lot.

Very dark rims (especially black) is a UK thing, but I don't like it without a polished lip.
But unfortunately not all rims have a lip that can be polished as well as Clio Williams or 205 GTI rims (both made by Speedline btw).

That's exactly what I said to someone who suggested to me to have them painted black.
Phase 1 rims crossed my mind as well, but they're 15". They look very similar to R19 16v rims, so this is what they'd look like:

Turbines, also really nice wheels indeed!
PH1 wheels won't fit I'm affraid, you have the 283mm brakes, I put them on too (266 is PH1) and the old rims didnt fit the calliper anymore Not even with a 20mm spacer. Had to sell them

Trying to get rid of old car parts?
Too bad they won't fit my car. I like them better than the ones that are on my car now.

Update (although I'm not sure why, because the activity on this forum is extremely low )
The ZX is losing weight.
These came in today (for my rims):
And a picture of the car with white side repeaters and shorter antenna:

Looks good, are you gonna strip it down further?

I don't think I will, because I'm not really a fan of completely stripped interiors. I'm planning to extend the boot floor to cover the part between the seats and the boot. That way it will look a lot nicer than it does now.
