I just have discovered this forum, by our french forum Citroen-Compactes.com.

It's really nice to see that there's a internationnal community for this car!

So, I'm gonna intruduce my car:


It's a 16V Acav Furio Red from July 1992. She (?) got about 95000km (not so much isn't it?).

I bought it in april 2007 to a member of our french forum who's got a 16V 167Cv now.

It costed me 1900€ and this is not so much because of the work which has been done on this car:

New suspension, injection program changed (in the calculator. reprogrammation), Aviation brake "durites" et maybe over things I forgot!









Bad things are:

Passagenr door is dead, the Paint is really damaged, and the wheel have scratches.

I would like to "restore" it but i don't have enough money (I'm student)

Those interior problems are just minor things. You can grab those pieces of plastic from any ZX
Could you plz resize the HUGE images? They take ages to load and mess up the board..

is common to see ZX 16V in France in these days?

No, it's not common to see 16V in france!

I saw just one on february at Deauville, it was an old man who was driving it. it was a first phase (like mine) but in Green "Vega" It was really clean!

intresteing i thought ther would be a few zx16v vrooming about in the land they were made.have u seen any maxi zxs over in france.nice car cant beat the red

what do you mean by "maxi zx"? do you mean Zx kit car or no?

well the kit car/ wide arch car.many moded zxs

I had never seen any moded 16V, or any ZX. Just one in fact...
very few people like this car, so no one mods it!

the only 16Vs I know are not moded!

That's right, I forgot the Brembo brake disks and my "tube afrique" is mounted since november if I remember well!

why do few people in France like the zx 16v? I just cant understand why these cars are not more popular.
