Yeah, silver suits the car! Need removing some dents, and a respray thought, a bit shabby at the moment.

Haven't done too much with the engine so far, I've changed the inlet manifold to a gti6 item and put on some 1.9Mi16 injectors for a bit more fuel.

Also working on a enclosed air filter, right know i have a open raid filter.

New engine coming next year. it will be a beast

Well, i do think so.
For a starter my vacuum clocks didn't work, so needed sorting out anyway. And you get a much bigger throttle body, and longer runners.

From the little i have driven the car, I've lost some low rev torque but gained a lot more inn the top end of the rpm scale. Now it really comes alive above 6000rpm.

But i do have a flat spot at about 4000rpm, not a big problem. But that'll be fixed when the new engine management system will be installed.

Congratulations, Jaredboy! nice work on your ZX!

you have bought some parts from the people of the 306GTI6.com forum (droplinks, ptfe gasket)?

what is your impression about these mods:

-Gr.N engine mounts
-Godridge Brake lines
-PTFE inlet gasket

Greetings from Brazil 8)

Thanks Edsonmasso!

Yeah, i have bought some parts from the 306gti6 forum, the items have been really nice made so far.
Well impressed!

The Godridge hoses have made the brake pedal a bit harder, and thats a good thing. But haven't tried them that much, since am not using the car right now.

The PTFE gasket really made the inlet manifold cooler, but as the weather gets hotter her i guess i'll make it even more noticeable.

I'm going to England next week to pick up some more parts from a 306gti6 forum member, really looking forward to it :D

Have anyone tried GAZ shocks on there ZX? I think ill change the AVO's to GAZ. The Avo's have been a bit hard, making the ride harsh, and not suited for road use.

I had a little trip to England, and got me some new parts this weekend!
This is a kit made by a member on the 306gti6 forum. I'm really impressed by the kit, the engineering and design is perfect!

Just need to pick up the T16 engine, buy some rods, pistons, intercooler, injectors and make a new loom.
I'll probably wait till next year with the new engine install, since I've got a lot of other things that need attention on the car.

More updates coming soon!

Been a while since my last update.

The car is really good to drive, and its fast, but getting a bit to much fuel with the mi16 injectors at lower revs.

Got the new GAZ coilover kit the other day, these do have TUV papers so will be approved to use her in Norway.
The car as it is now has AVO front coilovers and Koni rear shocks and I'm well pleased with them.
So will be nice to feel the difference between them.

These are the new front wishbone mounts, hopefully they will tighten up the front feel of the car.
And should last a lot longer then the original items.
Image

Here are some pictures of the car, lowered a bit but not as much as "pepezx" 16v
Image

And some pictures of the engine bay, done some more mods after i took the picture, made a ECU bracket and mounted a Catch tank since it spitting some oil.

I've made a new exhaust system too, but ill take pictures of that later.
