nice specs! but why do you choose weber 45 carbs instead of Jenvey itbs or custom bike itbs? I think electronic injection can offer more control and options than carbs, if you go to stand alone injection it's better! how much you lightened your flywheel? I am using an aluminium crank pulley 1kg lighter than the original and I feel a different response of the engine. another question, why do you use forged pistons and rods? planning in turbocharging or supercharging or you used these components to raise the compression ratio? and pics, we want to see pics fo the car! LOL

Yeah, nice work. True 16V love ;P What kind of pistons are you using(higher compression)? You seriuously are looking voor some extra HP what's your aim to get?

had my webbers laying around in my garage , and IBS would cost alot more , i am doing my car for as little money as i can ,
i have just got a OMP role cage today along with some 16" TSW wheels ,
i also have twin fan kit for the car racing center pipe magnex back box gti-6 exhaust manifold ( being made to fit ) new steering rack full coil over SPAX kit , OMP race rear pads tarox drilled and groved rear discs new hand brake cables new clutch cable polly bush wishbones new anti role bar new drop links all new brake pipes both flexy and metal ones red top fuel pump fuel pressure reg FIA kill switch wires for battery in boot mod 2x seats
still to get
406 brembos dizzy kit new engine mounts rear axle rebuild respray

ok dont seem to be getting much feed back but i will carry on,
today i have stripped the car down to a bear shell ready for preping and fitting of the role cage , i have to sort out the engine bay and under seal everything , fit new brake lines as i have removed the ABS from the car , fitted the new wheels i have pics if anyone wants to see how its all coming along
car looks really nice on the new wheels , got to sort out some new tyres now going to go for 205/40/16 ,
anyway aways nice to hear people comments - and no i dont want to go down the road of TB'S or IBS or BIKE CARBS lol ,

iuld reply if i didnt keep losing my passward lol.so sorry if i missed it is it going to be a track car then.allways wanted to bring mine back to standard in go for power but never get round to it.yeah pictures are allways a treat to look at ive bine waitin lol

i have almost got down to a bear shell , doing a total rebuild over the summer
bits that are ready for fitment
engine box drive shafts master cyclinder wheel spacers front brakes ( brembo's rebuilt ./ flexi metal pipes / normal metal pipes / rear brakes ( new pads / discs/ seals / cables / metel pipes / metal flexi pipes / disc back plates / steering rack full coilover spax suspension kit new powerflex wish bone mounts / new P bushes / new twin fan kit oil cooler rebuilt 45 webbers itg fiters role cage
bits to do
rear axle rebuild , get new rad respray rebuild shell

ok i got new rad now
got new rear discs Tarox
got pads FERODO fronts and RED DOT rears ,
got my Alloy rad
ordered alot of bits and bobs lol ,
have alot of items for sale also ,
got sub frame out and stripped , now to prep body shell for engine ,
need to order engine mounts
and wish bone bushes ,
