3 reasons
1. on the std box the ratios are too far apart, when you change gear it takes it out of power band. 2. Current gear box whines lightly 3. motorway econemy

I have make a mistake in the formule of the 6 speed box. This is what it have to be Speed km/h @ 7000 rpm 1 65,86231801 km/h 2 102,9494949 km/h 3 136,535855 km/h 4 167,4048309 km/h 5 202,6479532 km/h 6 240,6444444 km/h

That really is a very pretty 16v, but I am biased as it used to be mine , does it still have the holes in the tailgate where I fitted an AX rear spoiler??? Also like the FGW 57, where were t6he photo's taken? Cheers Steve

Not sure what wheels they are....
Picked up 6 speed gear box on Wednesday...
Had a little drive out last night, went to start it up and only running on 3 cylinders, presume a coil pack has blown...

In the middle of the the 6 speed gear box change. Will let you know errors/pitfalls on completion.
