My names chris, thought I'd pop in an say hello. I haven't currently got a zx but am on the look out for a 16v if one ever comes up! I've had two zxs in the past. A 1.9td I sold to my parents and a 1.8 Furio that someone decided to pull out in front of!

Welcome along , Good luck in your search for a Zx16v , they do accasionaly come up for sale , a few members on here have picked up some good buys in recent months , BUT remember they are not a cheap car to maintain correctly and the youngest ones are getting on for 14 years old , the place to watch out for one is pistonheads , last year there was four up for sale at the same time , I'll keep on the lookout for one , good searching

I've been hunting on ebay and pistonheads recently and anywhere else I can think of. I've got an Alfa GTV V6 at the moment so compared to the maintenance and running costs of that I'm sure they can't be as bad!!

Did you see the white one on Ebay which was on a while , it had slight frontal damage I think , Cromptons (James) on here did have the number for it , think it was down Cornwall way , there was a nice looking green one on pistonheads not too long back I night still have the number myself , I'll see if I can find it

Yeah I've seen the one in cornwall. Think it'd work out to expensive to get it back unfortunately. Absolutely perfect if it was driveable and roadworthy!

I'll get the number out of my van later , just hope it's still for sale , I know there was a full spare bodykit/bumpers/wheels , it's also got some 16" alloys which look quite nice too , and that they had owned it quite a few years , I'll pm you the number later , fingers crossed

Hi Chris - i have a ZX 16v for sale. It's a bit special so not cheap i'm afraid. Basic details are:
One owner from new - my father ( now elderly and requiring an automatic) Genuine 34500 miles - yes 34500 miles ! Serviced annually even though it has only done 5-700 miles in each of the last 3 years. Never damaged - all bodywork/paintwork original A folder full of bills and paperwork including all MOTs and a stamped service book Unique car and i doubt there is a more genuine example in the UK if not the world (unless Citroen stuck a new one in a museum.)
I'm tempted to keep it for myself but would consider offers around £2500. Which is probably less than you would spend putting a £500 example into decent condition! It's black and K reg by the way.
I have lots of high res pictures if you or anyone is interested.
Darryl
