hi
this summer i was working with my second citroen zx 16v. I bought this car because i need some parts to my green 16v.

in a beginning of spring I decided to make cabrio like "vent'd'quest" by heuliez. the photos below.

now i have a lot of work to do. first I need to fix the corrosion and paint the car with a new color. I want to make cabrio with leather seats, a/c, all side moldings like regular 16v and with original rims but without any roof

do u like it ?

I like your plans. Onley now it looks like a peace of junk. You got a lot of work to do to make it a nice car. And did you give the car more steel to make it stronger? And what if its going to rain?

Maybe you can use te soft top of the peugeot 306 cabrio?

I hope you can make a nice first zx cabrio.

in the future i will put more steel into this car. i don't have a lot of free time so I do what I can. i think when car gets new paint and side moulding it will look better. i had a lot of work with the corrosion, doors are from other version, not from 16v

It's certainly different , there's some work invlolved but it if done correctly could be a real eyecatcher , a convertible is probably not the best choice for your climate a 4x4 Zx might have been a better bet

Quite a project you have there.
The lines as the car now has, doesn't look that good to be honest. Make it a two seater and design/shape the rear with a boot so that it will look as if it had never been a four seater. That way you can easily strenghten the car(even more rigid than the original ZX).

This probably is the first mod of this kind for a ZX, respect 8-)
